For the love of Porridge

I had the pleasure of doing a market a few weeks ago with my stall buddy Penrhiw Organic, they were selling Raw Milk from Gelli Farm and, having never tasted it, I was enraptured. The flavour was intense, creamy and so unlike my usual pasteurised milk. I was immediately inspired to make porridge for our Sunday breakfast before a cold day of kids rugby and believe me, I'm a dirty bacon sarnie kind of girl so this really was a game changer!!!
- 50g oats
- 250ml raw milk from Gelli Farm
- pinch of salt
- few fresh raspberries or berries
- drizzle of our award winning Blissfully Blackcurrant Sirop
I steeped the porridge overnight with the milk and then slowly brought it to a boil in a saucepan for breakfast. It thickened beautifully and with just a touch of salt, a few fresh raspberries and a drizzle of our Blissfully Blackcurrant Sirop it was heaven in a bowl!
