Dark Skies & Low Light Photography with David Broadbent at Duckling Barn
Tax included.
David Broadbent is a proffesional photography with a long career in photographing wildlife and dark skies. He also happens to be our neighbour so we are beyond delighted to welcome him to Duckling Barn for an masterclass in photography.
We'll meet just before sunset and have a few hours with David sharing his skills and guiding us to produce brilliant photos that we can be super proud of. We'll end the evening with hot chocolate and hot dogs, giving us time to reflect and discuss our achievements!

From David - Dark Skies and Low Light
"The course is run outdoors and, sadly, we have no control over the weather. Our aim is to show you how to take fantastic shots of the moon and stars. However, the clouds sometimes get the upper hand. In that event our Plan B will teach you all of the practical tips and settings to do so while having fun in low light, night techniques including light painting and using additional artificial lighting. During the course you will learn new skills that are as applicable to travel, portraits and landscapes as they are to the stars and the moon. All to improve your creative output after dark."

We do have a gazebo BUT be prepared - bring wet weather and cold weather gear, a torch, a tripod, your camera with a spare battery and very solid boots for muddy, uneven ground. There will be a short walk to the photography area.
We do have animals on site - donkeys, ponies, chickens, wild ducks and a dog so please be mindful and only approach the animals if you are with one of the team.
Please advise of any dietary requirements x
